Bucegi Mountains

The Bucegi Mountains are one of Romania’s most iconic and accessible mountain ranges, located in the Southern Carpathians, just north of Sinaia and Busteni. They’re famous for stunning rock formations, panoramic views, and rich legends tied to Dacian history and mysticism.

Bucegi Natural Park (Romanian: Parcul Natural Bucegi) is a protected area in central Romania, covering much of the Bucegi Mountains. It’s one of the most biodiverse and geologically unique parts of the Carpathians and a prime destination for hiking, nature watching, and cultural exploration.
