It is a land of treasures, that will surprise you at every single step.<\/p>\n<p><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/www.outdooractive.com\/en\/embed\/810471836\/js?mw=false\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>We will start our trip in Aluni\u0219 village, by visiting the local small church, that is one of the oldest orthodox places of worship in Romania, established in 1274. The legend tells the story of two shepherds that had a strange dream: a voice told them to smash a stone and inside of it they will find an icon. width: 100%;\" class=\"slide-3683 ms-image \" aria-roledescription=\"slide\" data-date=\"2025-05-29 17:31:49\" data-filename=\"IMG_20210605_155646-scaled-700x300.jpg\" data-slide-type=\"image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mountainleader.ro\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/IMG_20210605_155646-scaled-700x300.jpg\" height=\"300\" width=\"700\" alt=\"lacul hansaru\" class=\"slider-3667 slide-3683 msDefaultImage\" title=\"Lacul Hansaru\" \/><\/li>\n            <\/ul>\n        <\/div>\n        \n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>From Aluni\u0219, we will follow some unbeaten trails to Nucu-Bozioru area, where we will visit the largest rupestral complex. <strong><em>Dionysius the Spinner Cave (Pestera Dionisie Torcatorul)<\/em><\/strong>, the stone house where the monk, skillful at spinning and weaving wool chose to live in solitude. The cave has places for bed, table and a vertical weaver. We will climb on a wooden ladder and enter the small settlement through a tinny hole. The cave was named after Dionysius who lived there in the nineteenth century.<\/p>\n<p>From here, we follow the path to <strong><em>Saint Iosif\u2019s Cave. <\/em><\/strong>Carved in a huge rock, the church has preserved the initially aspect.
