SUMMARY:Hiking the trails of Tataru Mountains
DESCRIPTION:Vama Buzăului area offers plenty of options for outdoor activities\, both on and off the beaten trails. The village is surrounded by Ciucas and Tataru Mountains\, but\, also\, has access to Siriu Mountains (via Tatarutu ridge). \nThis tour is planned for the hikers having already some experience and a good fitness level (able to walk around 20km/day\, with differences of elevation over 700m\, carrying a normal daypack). Most of the route runs along unmarked trails. \n \nPhoto Gallery: \n\n    \n        \n            \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                \n                \n            \n        \n        \n    \n\nOn our tour we will walk the loop of  Tataru Mountains\, with its two summits (Tataru Mic – 1412m and Tataru Mare – 1476m). SUMMARY:Winter tour around Sirnea and Pestera villages
DESCRIPTION:Sirnea and Pestera villages are well known for the sceneries that can be found here\, but\, also\, for their bucolic atmosphere. The trails that follow the hills surrounding the villages\, are pleasant and accessible for most of the people\, being recommended even for families with children. \nWe will start/finish our tour in Sirnea village: \n \nAlong the route\, we will have longer stops for admiring the scenery and taking very special photos. SUMMARY:Leaota in winter colours
DESCRIPTION:Leaota Mountains are fabulous during this time of the year\, when they are painted in white. During the clear days\, with good visibility\, they offer fantastic all around views\, being possible to admire the western side of Bucegi Mountains\, but\, also\, the entire massif of Piatra Craiului and a large parte of Iezer Păpușa Mountains. \nThe start/finish point of our tour is located in Moieciu de Sus village (the end of paved road\, near the barrier to Bangaleasa valley). For the way up\, we will follow the trail that leads us to the point called La Bisericuță. From here\, we will head off South\, and\, once we reach the alpine area\, we will choose as playground Dudele Mari neighborhood (having the highest altitude of 1954m). SUMMARY:Zaganu-Gropsoarele Ridge
DESCRIPTION:Zaganu-Gropsoarele Ridge has\, during the winter time\, a special charm and other sense of wilderness. However\, you must take into consideration the fact that it is not an easy route: there will be  some ”delicate” passages where we will pay extra-attention and we will make proper decisions\, before entering into them. \nWe will start/finish our tour in the proximity  of Cheia mountain resort. Please be aware that parking your car in that area might be a bit tricky. \nFrom here\, we will follow the marked path that leads us\, first\, through the forest\, to Zăganu sheepfold. From here\, we will enter into the alpine area\, passing near Zăganu Peak and reaching Gropșoarele Peak. SUMMARY:Winter mountain tour in Grohotis Mountains
DESCRIPTION:Grohotis Mountains are part of Eastern Carpathians\, but they are less popular than they neighbors (Ciucas\, Neamtului and Piatra Mare Mountains). However\,  they offer excellent views all around\, especially during the clear winter days. The scenery is fabulous and\, most of time\, the trails are very quiet\, as long as there are less hikers exploring them. Our intent is having a proper snowshoeing tour\, but that will depend of weather conditions. \n\n    \n        \n            \n                \n                \n                \n                \n            \n        \n        \n    \n\nWe will start/finish our tour in Bratocea Pass (where we will leave our cars). From here we will head off to the alpine area of Grohotis Mountains; once arrived here\, our eyes will admire the large open spaces that will surround us all day long. We will reach\, in order\, Bobul Mic Peak ( 1752m) and Grohotis Peak (1768m)\, and we will have enough breaks for taking good photos.
