SUMMARY:Winter mountain tour in Grohotis Mountains
DESCRIPTION:Grohotis Mountains are part of Eastern Carpathians\, but they are less popular than they neighbors (Ciucas\, Neamtului and Piatra Mare Mountains). However\,  they offer excellent views all around\, especially during the clear winter days. The scenery is fabulous and\, most of time\, the trails are very quiet\, as long as there are less hikers exploring them. Our intent is having a proper snowshoeing tour\, but that will depend of weather conditions. \n\n    \n        \n            \n                \n                \n                \n                \n            \n        \n        \n    \n\nWe will start/finish our tour in Bratocea Pass (where we will leave our cars). From here we will head off to the alpine area of Grohotis Mountains; once arrived here\, our eyes will admire the large open spaces that will surround us all day long. We will reach\, in order\, Bobul Mic Peak ( 1752m) and Grohotis Peak (1768m)\, and we will have enough breaks for taking good photos. Also\, I will provide you the info regarding the mountains that can be seen in the distance. \n\n\n\n                Technical box: \n\n\n\nTotal distance: 21 km\nDifference of elevation: +/- 814m\nEstimated time on route: 7 hours\nMaximum number of participants: 6\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease check all technical details (including route profile) of the tour here \nBeing prepared for harsh winter conditions\, is essential!!! YOU MUST CHECK CAREFULLY YOUR EQUIPMENT!!!
